At what age can my child join?
We teach children and teenagers, boys and girls, from the age of 4 ½ -18yrs. Students may join if they are 4yrs old turning 5yrs within 6 months of enrolling.
Can my child try a class before enrolling?
Yes, we allow any new students the chance to come along and try a class to help the child decide if the class experience is one they would like to continue. Payment is required on the first day of class, if your child decides our classes are not for them after their first class only, we will offer a full refund.
Does my child have to audition?
No, your child does not have to audition to gain a place in our classes, we welcome children and teenagers of all ages and abilities at Danceworld.
Do we have to wait until a new term to join?
No, you can start at any point during the year except when we are in show term.
How are students placed in the appropriate class?
Our classes are based on age rather than ability and your child will be placed in a class suitable for his/her age. Class divisions are made strictly by birthdate. Over time we have found that this is the best way to divide classes.
